Consultation for Cedar Hall School

Closed 27 Apr 2022

Opened 13 Apr 2022

Overview

Invitation to review an Online Public Exhibition relating to the proposed new build accommodation at Cedar Hall School.

Why your views matter

Essex County Council (ECC), as the Education Authority, proposes to provide a new classroom building to replace existing temporary accommodation. The new building will provide 5 general classrooms, an Art room, a combined Construction / Mechanics classroom, Library, Staff Room, Changing Rooms, Staff Offices / Meeting Rooms, Group Rooms and associated stores, toilets and cloak areas. The ECC Project Team and the appointed Design & Build contractor, Morgan Sindall Construction, have been working with the School leadership to develop a proposal that would meet the School’s educational need and that fits well on the School site.

Please see attached planning boards at the bottom of the webpage.

We would like to invite you to an online exhibition to review the current proposals and to have your say before the proposals are completed for submission to the County Planning Authority as a detailed planning application. We would be grateful if you could take your time to complete the survey so that we can capture and consider the views prior to the submission of the planning application.
