Overview

One Planning Training

One Planning is the approach taken in Essex to enacting the requirements of the SEND Code of Practice. It is a way of completing the graduated approach (assess, plan, do, review) in a person-centred way.

This training introduces staff working in educational settings to One Planning and to a range of resources and materials to support One Planning.

This virtual training provides an introduction to key concepts and materials relating to One Planning. Attendees will be encouraged to develop the knowledge and skills they learn through attendance at One Planning ‘surgeries’ run within their clusters by their cluster Inclusion Partner.

Length: 90 minutes

Who is this course for?

Primarily, SENCOs and those with key roles within educational settings focusing on SEND, but it would be beneficial to all educational provider staff including school and college leaders and setting managers.
