Invitation to review an Online Public Exhibition relating to proposals for a new teaching block for New Rickstones Academy and the provision of new Sixth Form, Residential and Hydrotherapy facilities for Southview School, Conrad Road, Witham.
Why your views matter
Essex County Council (ECC), as the Education Authority, proposes to provide new build accomodation for the expansion of New Rickstones Academy and the provision of a new sixth form, Residential facility and hydrotherapy pool for Southview School on the New Rickstones Academy site.

This project will provide a new two storey teaching block for New Rickstones Academy which will include practical spaces such as Science, Food Technology and ICT. For Southview School, a new two storey building which will provide teaching accommodation for 24 sixth form students, a residential facility for up to 10 students and a hydrotherapy pool will also be provided. The ECC project design team has been working with the both New Rickstones Academy and Southview School to develop proposals that would meet both school’s educational needs and fits well on the site.
We would like to invite you to an online exhibition to review the latest draft proposals online and to have your say before the proposals are completed for submission to the County Planning Authority as a full planning application. Comment forms are available online and we would be grateful if you could take your time to complete this so that we can capture and consider the views prior to the submission of the planning application.
