Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI) remains a tragic and preventable cause of infant mortality. Practitioners working with families play a vital role in supporting families to reduce the risks associated with unsafe sleep environments.

• Identify factors that increase the risk of unsafe sleep and how you can promote safer sleeping arrangements
• Apply curiosity when discussing infant care practices and explore barriers that may prevent families from following safer sleep guidance.

This training is facilitated by HCRG and Essex ICB.
