ESCB Training - Getting to know your Partners - Essex Family Forum, 16th September 2026, 12.30pm-1.30pm (virtual)

Overview

Please ensure you have read the ESCB Charging and Cancellation policy before completing this application as you will be charged for non-attendance and late cancellation.

Essex Family Forum is a passionate team of parents and carers of children and young people with SEND, working collaboratively with local authorities, health, social care and community partners to ensure the parent carer voice is central to service design, development and improvement.

This session will provide an insight into how the Essex Family Forum gathers and represents the views and experiences of families across Essex through surveys, engagement activities and partnerships with local support organisations, and how these views influence local, regional and national SEND policy and practice. Attendees will gain a greater understanding and the value of working alongside families to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

This session will include a Q&A and you can ask your colleagues anything to do with their organisations, services and daily practices, to help you gain a better understanding and promote an improved collaborative working approach.

This is a virtual training course and delegates will be sent an invitation via Microsoft Teams to join the event. Please note that your email address may be visible to other delegates on the Microsoft Teams invite.
