Great Notley Action on Climate Change
Overview
Great Notley will be leading the way in the electric vehicle revolution when The Braintree Electric Forecourt® opens in November 2020. This is the first of around 100 electric forecourts planned in the next 5 years by GRIDSERVE across the country.
Essex County Council wants to see the Braintree Electric Forecourt® become a springboard for community-led energy projects. They have teamed up with Community Energy South to support the local community to develop community led energy projects including low carbon transport, renewable energy, energy efficiency and fuel poverty projects.

Why your views matter
Essex County Council, GRIDSERVE and Community Energy South would like to understand your views and opinions on reducing carbon emissions, using electric vehicles and community energy projects.
What happens next
The survey information will be used by the project team to help understand local views and opinions on electric vehicle charging, sustainability and action on climate change. Information will also be used to develop support for community energy projects.

Community Energy and the Great Notley Sustainable Transport Revolution!
From 17 Nov 2020 at 19:30 to 17 Nov 2020 at 20:30Great Notley will soon be leading the way in a sustainable transport revolution when the Braintree Electric Forecourt® opens in November 2020. This is the first of around 100 electric forecourts planned by GRIDSERVE across the country that will make charging electric vehicles much faster and as simple as using petrol stations.
Alongside the launch of the Braintree Electric Forecourt® Essex County Council and Community Energy South is offering support to the local community to develop low carbon transport, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
