Overview

Working in partnership with the senior leadership team of Harlow Fields School, Essex County Council is exploring the possibility of expanding the school  to 238 places from January 2026.  Appropriate permanent accommodation would be delivered on the school site to allow that to happen.

Why your views matter

All parties agree that the principle of expanding Harlow Fields School should be explored with the local community, in order to improve capacity for children and young people from 3-19 years with severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties in the locality.
