Overview

Working in partnership with the senior leadership team of Beauchamps High School, Essex County Council is exploring the possibility of expanding the school (on a phased basis) to 1550 places from September 2024, so that it may admit cohorts of 270 children into its Year 7, going forward from that date.  Appropriate permanent accommodation would be delivered on the school site to allow that to happen.

Why your views matter

All parties agree that the principle of expanding Beauchamps High School should be explored with the local community, as it enhances the educational offer that could be made to local parents.
