U-Flexi Portal- User Research
Overview
As part of Essex County Council’s strategy, we are committed to supporting both employers and workers to thrive post-Covid. This includes the growing number of employers who are recruiting flexible, irregular, part-time and gig economy staff.
As part of this commitment, we are exploring the opportunity to launch a flexible employment service, for good work. This service would aim to better connect employers to local people with the right skills and experience, while giving workers control and flexibility over their hours, and helping them to secure good work locally.
To better understand whether this service would be welcome, we would like to know:
- A few details about your business, and your current/potential use of flexible and irregular labour.
- Where you currently recruit this staff, and your experiences.
- Your potential interest in a service to make it easier to connect with flexible and irregular workers.
Please complete this survey and indicate if you are also interested in taking part in a follow-up conversation or focus group about your experiences with a member of our team. We’re really keen to hear your views, and your input will help us to shape the services we provide for businesses.
Responses will be confidential, you will not be identifiable in any reporting. If you wish to take part in further engagement, there is an opportunity to provide your contact details at the end of the survey. You will not be contacted without your consent, and you can change your mind about taking part at any time.
Data protection
The information you share will be treated confidentially. Your data will be held securely and will not be shared with anyone outside of the project team.
