Essex Caring Communities Commission Survey

Closes 6 Jan 2025

Opened 16 Sep 2024

Overview

The Essex Caring Communities Commission is an independent group of experts and elected members looking at transforming public services to empower communities, improve outcomes, and reduce demand pressures.

Communities that are more resilient and more empowered tend to have better health and wellbeing outcomes and this in return reduces demand on acute public services. Much has been done in the past ten years, but the challenges facing public services have increased shaped by demographics, rising inequalities, and the impacts of Covid.

These challenges need new ways of thinking and that is what the Caring Communities Commission is seeking to provide. It is an opportunity to step back, learn, engage, and listen – and then make recommendations for the future of public services that will have real benefit for the public.

The responses to this survey will provide valuable insight and feedback to the Commission and help it to understand residents' perceptions and experiences.

The results will form part of the Year 1 report of the Commission and could help inform its recommendations.
