Living, working and getting around Basildon

Overview

Basildon Borough Council and Essex County Council are working together to make Basildon an even more vibrant place to live, work and visit. Part of this work is to develop a new strategy that will ensure growth in the borough is inclusive, and will set out how both local authorities will work together to ensure that residents and businesses have access to high quality homes and jobs, as well as improved walking, cycling, road and rail connections to keep Basildon moving.
