Pioneer Trust - Sailing, small group event

Overview

We’re excited to be able to offer a small number of selected young people and their Independent Visitor volunteer to put their sea legs to the test and experience a day of sailing with Pioneer Trust, this is funded by the trust for 6 pairs (6 young people & 6 IV's).  Lunch and refreshments are not provided.

⏰ Meet Time: 09:30am returning to yard around 16:30
📍 Location: Pioneer Sailing Trust, Shipyard Estate,  Brightlingsea, CO7 0AR

Here is an example itinerary:

09.30:  Arrive at Pioneer boatyard

09.35–10.35:Briefing

10.45:  Take launch to Pioneer mooring

11.00: Slip lines and head into the Colne Estuary

11.00–13.00:  Morning sail (everyone gets involved)

13.00:  Lunch on-board

16:30:  Return to Brightlingsea mooring 

Please note lunch is not included and this will need to be brought along on the day.
