- Understand the national and local data relating to child sexual abuse
- Recognise the challenges in practice on child sexual abuse, and what we can do to overcome them
- Understand the barriers facing children (and professionals) in communicating about sexual abuse
- Gain knowledge on resources to support practice including: identifying the signs and indicators of sexual abuse; communicating with children; supporting parents and carers; and safety planning in education settings
