Overview

The Community Safety Initiative Fund (CSIF) has been set up by Essex County Council (ECC) to award funding to community groups, voluntary sector organisations and registered charities to support delivery of local Community Safety projects that support everyone to live in safe and secure communities.

The CSIF will support projects and initiatives across Essex (excluding Southend and Thurrock) that help keep communities safe, protect people from harm and contribute towards crime prevention as well as inspiring public confidence, raising awareness and promoting cohesion and spirit. This includes new and existing projects that focus on early prevention, tackling the root causes of crime, vulnerability, exploitation and anti-social behaviour within the county.

The CSIF opens at 15:00 on 08th October 2024 and closing date for applications is 23:45 on 24th November 2024
