School Funding Consultation 2025-26

Overview

This consultation has been approved by the Essex Schools Forum and concerns the following:

• The requirement to adhere to the Schools National Funding Formula (NFF); and
   
• A proposal to transfer 1% from the Schools Block to the High Needs Block in 2025-26.

This consultation is for all primary and secondary schools, both maintained and academies.

Schools Forum wishes to know the views of schools on the proposals within this consultation to inform the decisions they will take at the November Schools Forum meeting.
