Funding Strategy Consultation 2026

Overview

Essex County Council, as Administering Authority of the Essex Pension Fund is required under the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations to prepare and publish a Funding Strategy Statement (FSS).

In line with a material change in this case the Valuation, we are required to review and make revisions. Following updated guidance there has been a full revision of the FSS in line with this guidance.

The Fund is required to consult with all stakeholders and any feedback should be shared with us here for a clear review of any comments.

The consultation will close Friday 13th February allowing a 6 week consultaiton period.
