Employment research survey

Closed 23 Jan 2023

Opened 13 Dec 2022

Overview

This survey is for people aged 18+ living and/or working in Essex.

Public sector partners across Essex are carrying out research to find out more about people’s opinions on public sector employment, and what motivates people to choose or avoid jobs within the public sector.

We’re looking to hear from a diverse range of people to participate in virtual focus group sessions, so that we hear a range of different views and experiences in this research. The information you share will help to inform campaigns which aim to highlight the career opportunities available in the public sector.

The focus groups will be suitable for those with employment history in Essex in the following categories:

1. Existing Essex public sector workforce

2. Job hunters including younger people

3. People returning to work after a break or people currently volunteering in Essex

4. People who have recently left the Essex public sector

These will be online focus groups, set up and run by recruitment agency, TMP on behalf of Essex partners. The focus groups will take place on the morning of 25 and 26 January 2023, and we are looking for around 8 participants to take part in each group.

TMP will be using Microsoft Teams to conduct the online focus groups, which will be facilitated by an experienced researcher. There will be a range of questions to answer. Please be aware that you will be with other participants in a group discussion as this will be done within a virtual group setting. The session should last no longer than 90 minutes.

To register your interest in taking part, please complete this short survey.
