Essex County Council, as part of our wider short breaks offer, are working on improving the provision of Home Based Care (also known as Direct Provision, home-based agency support or packages of care) for children and young people with special educational needs and /or disabilities (SEND) and their families living in Essex who are assessed as requiring intensive or specialist provision.

Why your views matter
We are seeking the views of specialist providers about their experiences of delivering services to help us in the development of a new framework agreement.
Please complete the questionnaire as honestly as you can, your views are important to us. By completing the questionnaire, you agree for your feedback to be used to inform the area of work related to Home Based Care. Your responses will be treated in strictest confidence and will remain anonymous.
Your participation is voluntary. If you wish to withdraw your data, please contact shortbreaks@essex.gov.uk by 22/07/25. After this date, your data will have been combined with that of others and anonymised.
What happens next
