Transforming Tindal Square - Business Event

Overview

Tindal Square and Shire Hall are at the historic and civic heart of the city but are currently separated from the High Street by a road.  As part of the plans, road traffic and street clutter will be removed, and a new paved public square will be created to extend pedestrian space from the High Street up to Shire Hall. We are also planning to change access and delivery arrangements to businesses along the High Street to improve safety and protect paving and bridge infrastructure.

As businesses are at the heart of our High Street, we want to work with you to ensure these improvements help support the local economy and draw more people to the city.

We are holding a drop-in session for businesses on Wednesday, 12 June 2019, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm to provide you with the opportunity to discuss the plans with the project team.
