ESAB Strategy and Business Plan - Consultation - 2021
Overview
The Essex Safeguarding Adults Board is pleased to introduce its Strategic Plan for the period April 2021-24. The Care Act makes it a statutory duty for safeguarding adult boards to publish a strategic plan for each financial year that sets how it will meet its main objective and what the members will do to achieve this.
Our plan:
- Builds on the foundations of the Boards previous strategy
- Takes forward themes identified in Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs) commissioned by the Board
- Includes priorities identified by our partner agencies
Alongside the strategic plan ESAB have developed a Business Plan that sets out how ESAB plan to deliver on its priorities. The plan initially focusses on 2021/22 but will be reviewed and expanded annually to ensure that it continues to deliver against the priorities and other key issues as they emerge.

What happens next
Once your responses have been received, the feedback will be reviewed and any amendments to the ESAB Strategic & Business Plan will take place, prior to full publication in April 2021
